This was our first venue of the new year. The weather turned perfect just as we started to play. It did not rain, the fog lifted, the humidity stuck; it was a fine January day in south central Texas. However, the course was a bit thin/bare in the fairways. The 8:30 start time was spot-on this week. Be prepared for methods to evade cold and rainy mornings so we can tee it up.
