Texas Interclub Tournament Fall 2024
RCGA vs. BOH

Another chapter has been charted in this 14-year-old tournament between River City Golf Association (RCGA) and the Brothers of Houston (BOH). This latest telling of events took place at Randolph Oaks Golf Course and Northern Hills Golf Course on October 9^th and 10^th of 2024. The tournament fielded 59 golfers at Randolph Oaks and on the second day we had 57 golfers at Northern Hills.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Fourball, Match Play, All Birdies, Skins, Net Skins, Low Net & Gross (per flight), and Closest-to-Pin.



At the end of day 1, the BOH won 7 matches and RCGA won 4. Down by 3 was not the position of strength to put it nicely… The next morning there were 23 team matches on the line. The BOH were ready to pounce on us knowing they only needed to secure 10 and an “all square” to not even take the trophy out of the case. Well, that did not happen. We racked up 16 match wins at Northern Hills to come out on top overall 20 to 14. The Ray Williams trophy is now in our possession. We thank the BOH for bringing their competitive spirit and genuine fellowship. Congratulations to the RCGA team for successfully acquiring the gold!
