We started this venue earlier than our scheduled shotgun start time due
to the forecasted weather that we were attempting to minimize or avoid.
We started 15 minutes earlier; that was as soon as the majority of us were
at the course. There was a bit of reshuffling needed due to several morning
withdrawals and couple of no shows. Thank you for filling in as requested.
For the most part, we were able to complete the round without any rain

coming down. With the exception of the 15 minutes it did rain; the conditions
were fine. The south side of town did not see any of the massive amount of
rain the meteorologist talked about on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. And we
finished well ahead of the cold front arriving too.

With your permission; we will cancel to avoid cold temps, rain, and high wind
conditions. Some cancellations may be determined playable after the fact.
Granted; we don’t have the clarity of 20/20 vision in hindsight. We rather error
to be overly cautious; than to be uncomfortable playing in continuous heavy
rain, numbing cold temperatures, or high wind conditions. Southcentral Texas
has far more sunny, warm, hot, and dry weather days for us to play golf.
