The go low top point obtainer this week is none other than Derrick Hodges. Congratulations Derrick for your strong play at Olmos Basin. Lou Miller is maintaining 1^st place overall in the 2022 RCGA Cup Championship. Several golfers are positioned to overtake Lou at the first sign of any weary or less than stellar performance. We play the final regular season round on 5 Sep at River Bend. The three playoff rounds shall follow. See the schedule for the venues. Next, a 2 on a par 5 equates to an albatross. Congratulations to Randy Block for chalking up the first albatross occurring during a River City Golf Association (RCGA) tournament. Randy nailed it on Olmos Basin’s par 5, 18^th hole. In addition to the joy of doing that; Randy receives the skin $$ and $50.00 on top of that for the albatross.
