The RCGA Cup points is nearing its commencement. First and second place swapped positions as a result of the major point grab that

was available for the Starcke Park venue. Greg Hopkins pushed ahead of Clarence Ward by 1.5 points. And I am sure there were more

PRE-ROUND TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

Skins and closest to the pin shall be played as usual. Individual net positions shall receive Cup Championship Points

that shall be worth double the regular season values. The team tournament portion shall suspend the normal weekly

Low Net winning positions and payouts. The Four Man Teams shall be determined by the Scorekeeper Program de-

signed to balance the field by the team's handicap; with the exception of an incomplete team. If there is an incomplete

team; an additional blind draw shall be done to establish a four-golfer team if necessary. All group pairings shall be

done as usual. All RCGA handicap golfers are eligible for the Four Man Tournament. The four member's combined

low net score shall be registered as the team score. The lowest combined team score shall win.

- 1st place team, $220.00

- 2nd place team, $200.00

- 3rd place team, $160.00

- 4th place team, $140.00

- 5th place team, $120.00

- 6th place team, $100.00

NOTE: the tiebreaker rule will apply to 1^st through 6^th place in the event of a tie in either of those finishing positions. The

hole HCP method shall be used. It assesses the total team’s gross score starting from the no. 1 HCP hole ascending.

If the tie is not broken, then the total team’s net score shall be assessed from the no. 1 HCP hole ascending until the

tie has been resolved.

Can golfers without an established RCGA HCP play?
Answer: Yes. None HCP golfers compete in skins & CTP competitions with an entry fee of $12.00.
